Attorney Profile

I grew up in Chicago, Illinois. I attended Grinnell College in Grinnell, Iowa and received a Bachelors of the Arts with a double major in Biological Chemistry and Political Science. My husband Rick and I moved to Oregon seven years ago, and we love the friendly people and beautiful green spaces. As an arborist, Rick is especially impressed by Oregon’s trees.

I received my juris doctorate from University of Oregon College of Law. During law school I externed for the Honorable Susan Svetkey, and I developed a passion for family law. I have devoted my career to helping families through crisis and transition, including divorce, child custody, and restraining order matters.

After obtaining extensive experience in family law practice in Clackamas, Washington, and Multnomah counties, I opened my own practice. I enjoy having the freedom to provide legal services to families at affordable prices

I spend my spare time with my husband and our dog, Penny. I enjoy hiking, camping, and running, and I captained a Hood to Coast team in 2012. I also represent children in contested divorces pro bono through the Multnomah County program, and I am a Clackamas County Bar Association board member.
